As a Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving their commercial strategy and ensuring sustained growth and profitability.THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO INDIA Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the industrial materials sector. Lead and mentor a dynamic sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Identify new business opportunities and forge strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s market presence and competitiveness. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform product development and go-to-market strategies. Drive pricing strategies and contract negotiations to maximize profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, finance, and product development to ensure alignment and seamless execution of commercial initiatives. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of commercial activities and drive continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proven track record of success in a senior commercial leadership role within the industrial materials or related industry, with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Deep understanding of the Indian market dynamics, customer behavior, and regulatory environment. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable commercial initiatives. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious targets. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change effectively. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is a plus.
