<b>Job Description: Financial Controller. </b><b>Location-</b> United Arab Emirates. (Dubai)<b>Company Description</b>: The Company of our client is expanding into international partnerships. The company has entered into agreements with various global energy companies to collaborate on projects and broaden its reach in the international energy market. Therefore, the Company is looking to employ talents with international experience, high tolerance, and emotional intelligence.<b>Team:</b> Local international Team 1-20 employees<b>Reporting to</b>: Finance Director of the Company. <b>Position Overview</b>:The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting within the organization. Reporting to Finance Director the Financial Controller is responsible for managing budgeting, financial controlling, and management reporting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization. The Financial Controller will contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies to support the company’s growth objectives. Additionally, the Financial Controller will be part of the team and provide guidance to ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. Overall, this position is instrumental in providing strategic financial insights and driving informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.RequirementsParticipate in the budgeting process: gather and analyze data for budget preparation, input data into information systems, monitor budget execution.Ensure completeness and accuracy of transaction reflection in information systems during period closing (in own area of responsibility).Participate in management reporting: gather and process information for input into internal corporate systemContribute to process development and automation.Handle ad-hoc requests being a part of the international corporate presence. <b>Additional information</b>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.2-4 years of experience in budgeting, financial controlling, or management reporting.Knowledge of principles of management reporting, including PnL (Profit and Loss), CF (Cash Flow), principles of revenue recognition.Familiarity with  financial controlling software (journal entries, reports) is an advantage.Advanced Excel skills, ability to analyze large datasetsStrong team player , responsibility, and attention to detail in numerical work.Fluent English language proficiency.
