SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

 

As a Forklift Operator your role will be loading and offloading various types of raw materials and finished goods. This must be done in compliance with HSEQ requirements and service targets. This role is based in Adama and reports to the Supply Chian Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Offload and Load Raw material and Finished goods using forklift.

  • Efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks 

  • Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders 

  • Label raw materials

  • Receive goods, ensuring contents match manifest documents 

  • Inspect receivables for defects, damages, or missing items 

  • Load, unload, stack, move, and place products in appropriately designated areas 

  • Conduct stock count

  • Collect, prepare, package, and label goods for shipment 

  • Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) 

  • Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
