KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Within the assigned unit and delegated authority, the Programme Assistant (Implementation) will be responsible for the following duties:
- Active participation in program activities, ensuring regular communication with supervisors and stakeholders throughout the evaluation period.
- Collaboration with relevant partners and agencies for program implementation, including the supporting partners to organize training programs.
- Implementation of outreach and sensitization activities to increase awareness and participation in program initiatives.
- Involvement in WFP programme participant selection processes, conducting interviews and assessments to ensure suitable candidates for training programs.
- Contribution to the identification and establishment of suitable training workplaces for program participants.
- Efficient processing of payments for participants and trainers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Actively providing valuable insights for program improvement.
- Proactive resolution, follow-up, and reporting of issues related to program durations and operations.
- Emergency response involvement, including implementation overview of the recovery programme, distribution of resources, and support for affected populations.
- Participation in focus group discussions and ad-hoc activities, contributing to overall program evaluation efforts
