Quality & Test Technician Houston [onsite – day shift]

What is the job about?

This position is responsible for production quality and test in the Houston manufacturing operation.

Your main responsibilities:

<ul>
<li>Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components and materials used in production</li>
<li>Verify product system P&IDs</li>
<li>Document quality issues and related performance measures</li>
<li>Identify and address recurring problems concerning either the quality of the product or the reliability of the testing procedures</li>
<li>Responsible for Mechanical Run Test – determine piping setup, gauges/instruments needed, execution of test plan. </li>
<li>Maintain quality and test related production files for all project jobs</li>
<li>Communicate directly with suppliers for disposition of materials and to process vendor corrective action requests. </li>
<li>Provide problem solving support for production</li>
<li>Perform quality system audits</li>
<li>Responsible for Calibration program</li>
<li>Perform Work, promote teamwork and communicate in conjunction with our culture and corporate standards (Safety/Environmental, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Communication, Internal Controls, etc.)</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>

Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations

The Quality and Test Technician is a member of the Production Team and reports directly to the Production manager. This role will work closely with the Design team and the Project Execution team.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

<ul>
<li>Team player a must with strong communication, organizational, and written skills.</li>
<li>Proficient with measuring equipment</li>
<li>Proficient in blueprint reading (Geometric dimensioning & tolerances)</li>
<li>Process improvement techniques</li>
<li>Computer competency with Microsoft Office, email, digital photography, ERP systems</li>
<li>High School Diploma required with 3-5 years of applicable experience</li>
<li>Associates Degree in Engineering *preferred </li>
</ul>

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.
