Repair Technician – Marine – Al Futtaim Group

Overview of the role

The Repair Technician is responsible in ensuring up to date with technical aspects of the product and to be able to fix right a problem the first time.

What you will do

• Independently working with minimum direction
• Knowledge sharing with other peers and guidance of team members to excellence
• Carryout works like service, troubleshooting, repair, replacement of mechanical & electric components
• Extend the technical knowledge and skill to cover new products and other systems and functions
• Attending jobs in the workshop and the field proactively to identify potential problem causes and solve the problem
• Use tools and adopt best practices as mentioned in service manuals, SOW, and Wiring diagrams to avoid rework
• Accomplishes tasks with full attention to details, standards, and specifications. Adheres to standard operating procedure
• Use service checklist, read, understand, and implement instructions in workshop manuals, SOW, and Wiring diagrams
• Ensure work is completed and output is met as instructed
