We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and analytical Strategic Enterprise Account Executive to join our team to take on the full sales and customer lifecycle with our largest and most strategic customers. In this role, you’ll flex your IQ, EQ, creativity, and boldness. You will use your consultative selling approach and strong closing abilities to accelerate our already rapid expansion in your designated line of business and, convert your customers into leaders on the battlefronts of driving trust, customer experience, and sustainability in Commerce while saving them time, saving them money and lowering their risk.

The Strategic AE responsibilities include having in-depth knowledge and understanding of their vertical and in-depth knowledge of competitive products. They must also be excellent communicators with superior customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals. Ultimately, you will work with leaders across our sales team to ensure our organization hits our sales and revenue goals. Strategic Account Executive to join our Go To Market Sales team.

As our Strategic Account Executive, you will:

  • Create long-term profitable growth for the company and our customers by building senior, trusted relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for the company to solve their biggest problems for both direct and indirect targets
  • Understand the overall market dynamics of your industry vertical; client needs specific to those dynamics; and solution trends that will drive our business
  • Drive account expansion by cross-selling within current customers and expanding Notarize’s footprint within all applicable business lines within an account
  • Drive strategic new logo acquisition by developing Reference Customers and widening Notarize’s industry wide adoption
  • Generate and accurately manage pipelines for reliable forecasting. Identify market and customer needs and share feedback in a timely, actionable and collaborative manner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
  • Set monthly and annual sales goals
  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market and account plans
  • Execute the full sales life-cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to solution demonstration contract negotiation
  • Monitor the market and competitor products and activities
  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction

As our Strategic Account Executive, you should have:

  • 7-10 years of enterprise sales experience
  • Closed 3x 1M deals or more in the past 3 years. Get ready to brag about the details of those deals: customer, deal size, deal cycle, your role after close, etc.
  • Comparable experience building indirect and direct pipelines
  • Experience with SaaS opportunities and an understanding of APIs
  • A self-starter mentality and an ability to take full ownership of a pipeline, handling multiple concurrent deal cycles
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to good sales hygiene (e.g., using CRM, keeping an updated forecast, reporting clearly to management)
  • A desire to win and continually exceed performance-based objectives
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving orientation
