Shop floor Manufacturing Engineer Production & Planning Review and evaluate engineering drawings, purchase orders, and vendor configuration data to gather type of materials, components, or other items required for production. • Develops and implements moderate to complex fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams. • Using the established manufacturing process flow, defines sequences of events, develops text and graphic work instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material. • Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts. • Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide the program manufacturing and tooling plan. • Coordinate with other departments regarding customer specifications, design, quality requirements and tooling issues to ensure efficient production methods. • Create special process and outside service operations to meet customer requirements. • Revise planning templates based upon feedback received from other departments. • Provide RCCA support. • Support cost reduction initiatives to meet company objectives. • Knowledge to develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans Basic Qualification & Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimum 6 years of manufacturing planning or preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics experience will be considered. • An advantage is having experience with day-to-day planning within an operations environment. • As a type of person, you are stress resistant. You can work both independently and, in a team, and you are eager to learn. You can work in a precise and planned manner. • Read and understand the Aerospace components, Engineering drawings and concession dispositions reports. • Good communication skills, you know how to create support for your ideas in order to get stakeholders on board. • Understand all GD&T symbols and should be able to apply for manufacturing process and their applications. • Work location: Papendrecht, Netherlands • Must have working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Access & Excel. • Excellent reporting and writing skills. • You speak and write English well. Dutch is also important.
