The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination 2024 (CHSL) for recruitment of various Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted Government jobs vacancies for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.

Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSL) 2024 is one the most prominent recruitment examination conducted annually where vacancies of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators etc. are in Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of Central Government, including their Attached and Subordinate offices located in various States and Union Territories all over the country.
The CHSL Recruitment Examination 2024 will consist of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive
Paper (Tier-II) and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III).
The government jobs recruited through SSC CHSL Recruitment Examination 2024 are the backbone of the central government administration across India. Major base work at ground level is executed by the candidates selected by HSCL in the departments/ministries.

- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Pay Level-5 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹29200-92300
- Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100
Tentative vacancies: There are approx. 3712 vacancies. However, firm vacancies
will be determined in due course.
Age: 18-27 years as of 01/08/2024.
Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) – 12th Standard pass in Science
stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Application Fee for CHSL Examination 2024
An application fee of ₹100/- to be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
